("Gabriel") is pleased to announce that Newmont Mining Corporation of Canada Limited ("NMCCL"), a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation ("Newmont"), has exercised all 15,000,000 common share purchase warrants (the "Warrants") previously issued to Newmont as part of a private placement in September of 2004, for aggregate proceeds to Gabriel of Cdn$30 million.
